At MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Huawei's NFV solution was awarded Best Technology Enabler. This award points to the recognition within the industry of Huawei's leading capabilities and outstanding performance in NFV architecture, technology, commercial application, and the evolution toward Cloud Native.
In this interview with Light Reading, Michael Ma, the President of Huawei Cloud Core Network product line said: We are honored to be awarded this highly - recognized award in mobile industry. Many thanks for our customers, their strict and intelligent needs drive us to continuously verify and improve our NFV solution. Therefore, we are able to make our solution leading in industry in terms of advanced software architecture, optimized performance, innovation enablement and fully automatic operation and maintenance.
When talking about the next for Huawei NFV solution, He said: Facing future business environment, we should enable agile, robust and elastic telecom network with all cloud strategy, that is pooled hardware resources, fully distributed software architecture, full automation, to help operators to improve network resources efficiency, ensure best user experience, enable agile service innovation and realize digital transformation. For example, operators can provide one-stop cloud services including CloudVPN, CloudPBX, CloudVC, IoT and more under Huawei NFV solution to explore further in B2B market, fully matching with enterprise requirements including light-asset and OPEX model. Together with the cloud-device synergy, cloud platform and affordable terminals addressing the market which could not be addressed with traditional on-premise model.
